The Compagnia d’Arme delle 13 Porte, the Terra del Sole Pro Loco and the Borgo Romano invite you to Terra del Sole for A.D. 1387, an event dedicated to historical re-enactment and medieval life in a military setting.

Against the evocative backdrop of the ramparts of the fortified town, historical re-enactment groups will recreate daily life between 1360 and 1410, with costumes, encampments, furnishings, weapons and armour crafted in accordance with historical sources and with particular attention to historical accuracy.

Over the two days, visitors will be able to explore the camps and experience first-hand what life was like in medieval times.

The event will also feature a re-enactment of the Battle that took place near Castrocaro in 1387.

There will also be selected exhibitors from across Europe, offering items exclusively for re-enactors: armour, weapons, historical clothing and accessories.

During the event, visitors will also be able to stop by the food stall to sample local specialities.

To ensure a high standard of historical re-enactment, members of the public will not be permitted to enter whilst wearing historical, themed, fantasy or cosplay costumes.

The event is open to the public and admission is free.
